It was a delightful stay. The property was a characterful base for enjoying a pretty quiet area, adjacent to main government buildings and a trendy shopping/restaurant district. I booked a well-stocked and huge room with authentic furnishings for the era. The library was a nice addition. The good coffee was a great touch.

Great breakfast here with a wide variety of tasty meals. The staff is super friendly and made me feel taken care of. Definitely worth it for a comfy stay. 👌

This place is located in a great neighborhood, right by the park. The staff here is very friendly and helpful, and they go out of their way to make sure you have an excellent stay. The rooms are spacious, clean, and cozy, and I especially loved the sitting area and dining table in my suite. The garden area is a lovely spot to relax in the city. And the best part? They offer a delicious continental breakfast every morning. I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Satisfactory breakfast with eggs in the fridge and delicious options. Nearby Poke Bar is a great place to chill out. Located not far from restaurants on Lark Street with nice restaurants, shops, and eateries

The hotel is based in a historic style building with very attentive and thoughtful staff. We liked the superb and satisfactory breakfasts with eggs in the fridge and delicious options. - the location is magnificent, with a beautifully landscaped park just a 10-15 minute walk from the property. - There is a nice restaurant relatively close to the hotel. - We stayed for a trip and will come back.

This place is super central, just a minute walk from the First Presbyterian Church, perfect if you like to explore on foot! The room even had cool electric curtains that you can close at bedtime without getting out of bed 🌙 And the service here? Top-notch, couldn't ask for better!

The breakfast was superb with eggs in the fridge. The location was excellent for a trip to Albany. Noho Pizza with short-orders right at the venue was super convenient.

The room was clean and nicely decorated. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing recommendations for activities.

The noise from outside was bothersome, especially at night. There were loud sounds of ambulances, trucks, motorcycles, and people, which disrupted our sleep.

The building is gorgeous, street parking is easy, check-in was a breeze, the suite was comfortable, perfectly air-conditioned, bed/linens were topnotch, the guests we met were intelligent and likeable. We stayed over a Sat. nite and it was wonderfully quiet inside and out. We don't have another reason to return to Albany but if we did, we would definitely choose Morgan State House.
